In 2018, I had a total hip replacement at the Veteran’s Administration’s flagship facility in Orlando, FL. Then in December 2022, I had the other hip replaced at Samitivej Hospital in Sriracha, Thailand. Much of the procedure was the same, but the overall approach and experience were very different.
